FERC Order 755 Promotes Energy Storage Interactive Web Conference

April 10, 2012 / News & Updates

Tuesday, April 10, 2012 | 11:00am – 12:30pm Eastern Time $245

In Order No. 755, FERC issued a final rule requiring the grid operators in organized markets to compensate frequency regulation resources based on the actual service they provide. This webinar will discuss the new order, the process and implications.

Stoel Rives will discuss the background and context of the FERC Order as well as what is asked of the ISOs and RTOs. Customized Energy Solutions will provide a cross market overview and update on the current approaches and proposed responses from key ISOs and RTOs (i.e. PJM, NYISO and CAISO) to the FERC Order. AES* will provide the project developer / IPP perspective. Are these changes a step in the right direction? Existing concerns will be addressed. You will also hear from A123 and be provided with the perspective from a technology provider.
