Shyam has managed and executed several strategic engagements in India, Indonesia, Singapore and Middle East, over the past 20 years. His areas of expertise includes business planning, strategy development, leadership and strategy implementation, business transformation, brand, program and change management.
His wealth of experience comprises of multi-domain specialization including FMCG, Healthcare, Electrical Equipment, Textiles, Oil & Gas, Insurance, Automobiles, Banking, Pharma, Power & Utilities, Defense and Government Sector.
Of significant relevance is his experience as Project Manager of Process Enhancement module for the DFID funded Institutional strengthening and capacity building at Andhra Pradesh State Discoms, as well as his role as Program management and Team Leader for MIS/IT and process enhancement module for power sector reforms at Madhya Pradesh Utilities(‘MP Genco, MP Transco, MP Discoms’). He was also involved in process Consultancy for Power Finance Corporation, Delhi and developed strategy and process for R-APDRP(II).
Some of his key relevant engagements include establishing lighting division for CFL & LED lights, acquiring a majority stake in a composites company for defense sector, setup solar power plant, entry into bottled drinking water business in partnership with Pepsico, assisting promoters in acquiring the equity stake from Panasonic, Japan, growth and diversification engagement strategies for large industrial group based out of Coimbatore and Assisted PFC in articulating and rolling out of R-APDRP(II).
Shyam has a MBA from Madras University in 1997. Prior to joining CES, Shyam worked for Indo National Ltd, KPMG Advisory Services, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and Polaris Software Labs.
